Promoting water education, heritage, and sustainable development in the Mediterranean

This new video is aimed at promoting awareness about traditional practices of wise water management in the Mediterranean as a contribution to better understand our roots into the farsighted management of water.

The video illustrates how specific techniques, handed down for generations, suggest wise, low-energy, and nature-based solutions, with tangible benefits also for biodiversity and ecosystem services. Today these techniques and inherited insights provide a key inspiration for green, clean, and zero-waste technology and are central to the SDGs.
