Museum of water in western Australia

15,000 people visit Museum of Water at Fremantle Arts Centre

After 2 years of travelling and collecting donations across Western Australia, Museum of Water created our largest ever installation at Fremantle Arts Centre. Commissioned and co-produced by Perth Festival the WA collection now contains over 500 public donations, which will be accessioned into the Western Australian Museum’s permanent collection. Alongside the exhibition ran a large public programme that included boat-building and water-distilling workshops, training sessions with the Olympic synchronised swimming team, the live artwork How To Have A 3-minute Shower and the joyful speaker’s corner for swimmers, The Swimmers’ Manifesto. The full exhibition and programme was featured in an extended article in The Guardian.
